TERMS & CONDITIONS
​​These General Terms & Conditions apply to all reservations, stays, activities, retreats, and programs at Bedouin Yoga Camp in Wadi Rum, Jordan, mediated by Soul Tribe Travel By confirming a booking, guests agree to the following terms.
​
1. Reservations & Arrival

Individual Guests must contact us via WhatsApp at least 24 hours prior to arrival to confirm:

Estimated arrival time
-
Pick-up location
-

Transfers from designated meeting points are usually included in the room rate unless otherwise specified.
-
An additional transfer fee may apply if guests book accommodation only and do not participate in additional activities.
Failure to confirm arrival details may result in delays in transfer arrangements.

2. Rates & Inclusions
All rates are quoted in Jordanian Dinar (JOD) or EURO (€) unless otherwise stated.
Room rates include:

WIFI access
-
Free drinking water (refill system – guests are encouraged to bring reusable bottles)

Tea and instant coffee
-
Standard transfer from designated meeting point (unless otherwise specified)
Entrance fees to the Wadi Rum Protected Area are not included in accommodation rates and must be paid separately unless clearly stated otherwise.

3. Payment Terms
-
Payment conditions will be communicated at the time of booking.
-
We reserve the right to request advance payment or deposit to secure reservations.
-
Accepted payment methods will be confirmed during booking.
-
Full payment must be completed according to the agreed terms prior to or upon arrival.
Failure to comply with payment terms may result in cancellation of the reservation.

3.1. No Flight-Inclusive Travel Packages
Bedouin Yoga Camp & Soul Tribe Travel do not offer or sell travel packages that include international or domestic flights.
Guests are solely responsible for arranging and booking their own flights and travel to and from Jordan.
We are not responsible for:

Flight cancellations or delays
-
Airline schedule changes
-
Missed connections
-
Additional costs arising from changes to flight itineraries
Any modifications to arrival or departure times caused by airlines do not entitle guests to free cancellation or refund outside the applicable cancellation policy.

3.2. Passports, Visas & Entry Requirements
Guests are fully responsible for ensuring that:

Their passport is valid for entry into Jordan
-
They obtain the required visa (if applicable)
-
They comply with all entry, exit, health, and customs regulations
Bedouin Yoga Camp accepts no responsibility for denied entry, visa issues, expired passports, or failure to meet governmental travel requirements.
No refunds will be granted due to failure to obtain proper travel documentation.

3.3. Additional Costs & Transfers Outside Package Scope
Where packages, retreats, or programs include accommodation, transfers, or services, these are:

Calculated based on the number of confirmed participants
-
Valid only for the specific dates stated in the booking confirmation
If a guest:
-
Arrives earlier or departs later than the confirmed program dates
-
Requires additional transfers outside the scheduled group transfer times
-
Changes their travel schedule independently
Any resulting additional accommodation, private transfers, waiting times, or logistical adjustments will be charged separately.
Prices for group packages are based on confirmed participant numbers. If the number of participants decreases after confirmation, the price per person may be adjusted accordingly.

4. Health, Insurance & Personal Responsibility
Travel health insurance is mandatory for all guests visiting Jordan.
Guests are responsible for:

Ensuring they are physically and mentally fit for desert stays, yoga participation, and trekking activities.
-
Informing yoga teachers or retreat leaders of any injuries, medical conditions, or physical limitations before participating in activities.
Bedouin Yoga Camp & Soul Tribe Travel:
-
Does not provide medical or psychological treatment.
-
Does not replace professional medical care or therapy.
-
Is not responsible for medical expenses incurred during or after the stay.
In case of emergency, local medical services may be contacted at the guest’s expense.

5. Yoga Lessons & Retreat Participation
-
Yoga classes are offered on selected dates only.
-
Price: 15 JOD per hour per guest. (can be changed)
-
Guests may use available yoga equipment provided at the camp.
-
Participation is voluntary and subject to availability.
Participants acknowledge that yoga and physical activities involve inherent risks.

6. Safety & Camp Rules
For the safety and comfort of all guests and to protect the desert environment:
-
Guests must follow the instructions and advice of local guides and camp staff at all times.
-
No open fires, candles, or incense sticks are permitted.
-
Cooking is not allowed in the camp or inside tents.
-
Fireplaces are handled by camp staff only.
-
Guests wishing to explore trekking routes independently must inform staff in advance for security reasons.
Parents or guardians are fully responsible for supervising minors at all times.

7. Desert Environment Acknowledgment
Guests acknowledge that staying in the desert involves natural conditions including:

Heat, cold, wind, and sand
-
Uneven terrain
-
Limited infrastructure
-
Presence of wildlife
By booking, guests accept these environmental conditions.

8. Damage & Property
Guests are responsible for any damage caused to tents, equipment, furnishings, or camp property beyond normal wear and tear.
The camp reserves the right to charge for repair or replacement costs where necessary.

9. Groups & Venue Rental
Group bookings and venue rentals are subject to special conditions and separate agreements.
We do not accept group reservations through standard room rental platforms.

Programs for groups may be confirmed in cooperation with our partner DMC agency in Amman. Specific terms, payment schedules, and cancellation conditions will be communicated separately.

10. Liability
Participation in desert activities, yoga sessions, trekking, and excursions is at the guest’s own risk.
Bedouin Yoga Camp & Soul Tribe Travel are not liable for:

Personal injuries resulting from failure to follow instructions

Loss or damage of personal belongings
-
Weather-related disruptions
-
Delays or cancellations beyond our reasonable control
-

11. Force Majeure
The camp is not responsible for cancellations, delays, or modifications caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to:

Weather conditions
-
Government regulations
-
Natural disasters
-
Political restrictions
-
Road closures
In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to offer alternative arrangements where possible.

we always strongly recommend that all guests purchase comprehensive travel insurance — including trip cancellation, trip interruption (including abrupt early return), and travel health/medical coverage. Travel insurance is important for any international journey, regardless of destination. Unexpected situations can arise anywhere in the world, such as personal illness or injury before departure, family emergencies, airline strikes, flight cancellations or delays, lost luggage, airline schedule changes, weather disruptions, or other unforeseen circumstances beyond anyone’s control. Having the appropriate insurance ensures peace of mind and financial protection should anything unexpected occur before or during the retreat.

12. Environmental Responsibility
Bedouin Yoga Camp & Soul Tribe Travel operate within a protected desert environment. Guests agree to:

By confirming a reservation, guests acknowledge and accept these General Terms & Conditions.

13. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation terms depend on the type of booking. The applicable policy will be stated at the time of reservation and becomes binding once the booking is confirmed.
All cancellations must be submitted in writing (email or official booking channel). The effective date of cancellation is the date written notice is received.

13.1 Desert Adventure Packages, Retreats & Customized Programs
(Valid for bookings including guided tours, desert activities, retreats, catering services, or tailor-made arrangements.)
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the following cancellation conditions apply if you booked our Soul Tribe Travel or Bedouin Yoga Camp Packages

Scope of Application
These Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings and contractual relationships in which Soul Tribe Travel (STT) acts as an intermediary for travel services.
STT offers its intermediary services to clients worldwide. Bookings may be made by clients residing within or outside the European Union. Mandatory consumer protection laws remain unaffected.

Role of Soul Tribe Travel (STT)
-
STT acts exclusively as an intermediary for travel services and does not become a contractual party to the travel services arranged.
-
The travel contract is concluded solely between the client and the respective tour operator.
-
The tour operator is:
-
Dream Way
Destination Management Company (DMC)
Based in Amman, Jordan -
STT is neither a tour operator nor a service provider within the meaning of applicable travel law.
​
-
Conclusion of Contract
-
By submitting a booking, the client makes a binding offer to conclude a travel contract with the tour operator.
-
The travel contract is concluded upon confirmation by the tour operator. STT acts solely as an intermediary in this process.
​
-
Scope of Services
-
The scope of the arranged travel services is defined exclusively by:
-
the tour operator’s service description,
-
the booking confirmation,
-
and the tour operator’s terms and conditions.
-
STT has no influence on the performance, execution or quality of the travel services.
​
-
No Arrangement of Flights / Independent Travel
-
STT does not arrange or sell flights, rail travel or any other transportation services to or from the start or end point of the trip.
-
All arrival and departure arrangements are undertaken as independent travel and are the sole responsibility of the client.
-
STT assumes no liability for damages, additional costs or disruptions resulting from delayed or failed arrival.
​
-
Payment
-
Payment of the travel price is made directly to the tour operator or via a payment service provider appointed by the tour operator.
-
STT is not authorized to collect payments and does not receive customer funds in its own name.
​
-
Travel Documents and Personal Data
-
The client is solely responsible for:
-
the accuracy of all personal data provided during booking, in particular names as shown in travel documents,
-
holding valid travel documents with sufficient remaining validity,
-
obtaining all required visas, entry or residence permits,
-
complying with all applicable entry, transit, customs and health regulations.
-
STT assumes no liability for damages, additional costs or the non-performance of the trip resulting from incorrect or incomplete information or invalid travel documents.

Punctuality and Personal Responsibility
-
The client is obliged to arrive punctually at all meeting points, departure times and scheduled activities communicated by the tour operator.
-
Delays or failure to appear for reasons attributable to the client do not entitle the client to refunds, reductions or substitute services.
​
-
Liability of Soul Tribe Travel
-
STT is liable solely for the proper arrangement of travel services and the accurate transmission of booking information.
-
STT is not liable for:
-
the performance of the trip,
-
defects or disruptions of travel services,
-
personal injury, property damage or financial loss,
-
acts or omissions of the tour operator or service providers,
-
the insolvency of the tour operator.
-
Any claims arising from the travel contract must be asserted exclusively against the tour operator.

Insolvency Protection
-
As STT acts solely as an intermediary and does not receive customer payments in its own name, STT is not required to provide insolvency protection or issue a security certificate.
-
Responsibility for statutory insolvency protection rests solely with the tour operator
​
-
Governing Law
-
German law shall apply, insofar as this does not conflict with mandatory consumer protection laws.
​
-
Severability Clause
-
Should any provision of these Terms and Conditions be or become invalid or unenforceable, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.

13.2 Individual Tent Accommodation (Accommodation-Only Bookings)
(Valid exclusively for tent accommodation without additional desert tours, retreats, or organized activities.)
-
Free cancellation up to 14 days before arrival.
-
13–7 days before arrival: 50% of the total booking amount will be charged.
-
6 days or less before arrival / No-show: 100% of the total booking amount will be charged.
In certain cases, and only if confirmed in writing at the time of booking, a shorter free cancellation period (e.g., 1–2 days prior to arrival) may apply.
​
13.3 Group Accommodation Bookings (Accommodation-Only)
A group booking is defined as [insert number] persons or more under one reservation.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the following cancellation terms apply:

More than 60 days before arrival: Free cancellation
-
59–30 days before arrival: 30% of total booking amount
-
29–14 days before arrival: 60% of total booking amount
-
13 days or less before arrival / No-show: 100% of total booking amount
A deposit may be required to secure group reservations.

13.4 Third-Party Platform Bookings
For reservations made through third-party platforms, the cancellation policy of the respective platform applies. These terms may differ from our direct booking conditions, and guests are responsible for reviewing the applicable platform policy.

13.5
Refunds, where applicable, will be processed within a reasonable timeframe and may be subject to transaction or banking fees.
We strongly recommend that all guests purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, interruption (including early return), medical treatment, and unforeseen travel disruptions.
16. Agency Status & Cooperation with DMC Partners
16.1 Agency Role
Soul Tribe Travel (AGENT) & Bedouin Yoga Camp operate as an accommodation provider and local service facilitator.
In certain cases, we may arrange or coordinate additional services (such as transportation, guided tours, or retreat logistics) through licensed third-party providers and Destination Management Companies (DMCs) in Jordan.
In such cases, Bedouin Yoga Camp acts solely as an agent or intermediary, and not as a tour operator.

16.2 No Tour Operator Status
Bedouin Yoga Camp & Soul Tribe Travel do not organize or sell package holidays that include flights and does not act as a tour operator under international package travel regulations.
Where third-party services are arranged:

The respective service provider or licensed DMC is responsible for the operation and execution of those services.
-
Their terms and conditions may apply in addition to or instead of ours.
-
Liability for such services rests with the respective provider.

16.3 Cooperation with DMC Partners
For group programs, retreats, and customized itineraries, Bedouin Yoga Camp & Soul Tribe Travel may cooperate with licensed Destination Management Companies (DMCs) based in Jordan.
In such cases:
-
Contracts may be issued either by Bedouin Yoga Camp or the respective DMC partner.
-
Payment schedules, cancellation terms, and liability provisions may be governed by the DMC’s contractual terms.
-
Guests will be informed in advance which entity is responsible for the execution of services.

16.4 Limitation of Liability for Third-Party Services
Bedouin Yoga Camp & Soul Tribe Travel are not liable for:
-
Acts, errors, or omissions of third-party providers
-
Service interruptions caused by external suppliers
-
Accidents or incidents occurring during services operated by third parties
Any claims related to such services must be directed to the responsible provider.

Allgemeine Geschäftsbedingungen (AGB) für Bildungsurlaub-Seminare
§ 1 Geltungsbereich und Vertragspartner
-
Diese Allgemeinen Geschäftsbedingungen (AGB) gelten für alle Verträge über die Teilnahme an Seminaren, Kursen und Bildungsveranstaltungen (nachfolgend „Kurs“ genannt) zwischen Laura Di Salvo / Soul Tribe Academy, Im Mellsig 2, 60433 Frankfurt am Main, email: info.academy@gmail.com (nachfolgend „Veranstalter“) und dem Teilnehmenden.

Abweichende Bedingungen des Teilnehmenden werden nicht anerkannt, es sei denn, der Veranstalter stimmt ihrer Geltung ausdrücklich schriftlich zu.
§ 2 Anmeldung und Vertragsschluss
-
Die Anmeldung zu den Kursen kann schriftlich, per E-Mail oder über das Online-Anmeldeformular auf der Website des Veranstalters erfolgen. Die Anmeldung stellt ein verbindliches Angebot des Teilnehmenden zum Abschluss eines Vertrages dar.
-
Der Vertrag kommt erst zustande, wenn der Veranstalter die Anmeldung schriftlich oder per E-Mail durch eine Buchungsbestätigung annimmt.
§ 3 Besonderheiten bei Bildungsurlaub / Bildungszeit
-
Der Veranstalter stellt dem Teilnehmenden die für die Beantragung des Bildungsurlaubs beim Arbeitgeber erforderlichen Unterlagen (z. B. Anerkennungsbescheid, Seminarprogramm) nach Vertragsschluss zur Verfügung.
-
Die Einhaltung der gesetzlichen Fristen zur Beantragung des Bildungsurlaubs beim jeweiligen Arbeitgeber liegt ausschließlich in der Verantwortung des Teilnehmenden.
-
Nach erfolgreicher und vollständiger Teilnahme am Kurs stellt der Veranstalter dem Teilnehmenden eine offizielle Teilnahmebescheinigung zur Vorlage beim Arbeitgeber aus.
-
Anwesenheitspflicht und Bescheinigung: Die offizielle Teilnahmebescheinigung zur Vorlage beim Arbeitgeber wird nur ausgestellt, wenn der Teilnehmende an der gesamten Veranstaltung lückenlos teilgenommen hat. Bei verspäteter Anreise, vorzeitiger Abreise oder tageweisem Fehlen (auch bei unverschuldetem Fehlen, z. B. durch Krankheit oder Streik) wird keine vollständige Teilnahmebescheinigung ausgestellt. In diesem Fall kann lediglich eine Bestätigung über die tatsächlich absolvierten Unterrichtsstunden ausgestellt werden.

Gebührenerstattung bei Fehlzeiten: Ein Anspruch auf anteilige Rückerstattung oder Minderung der Kursgebühr besteht bei unvollständiger Teilnahme oder vorzeitigem Abbruch des Kurses durch den Teilnehmenden nicht. Dies gilt unabhängig vom Grund des Fehlens (z. B. auch bei eigener Erkrankung).
§ 4 Zahlungsbedingungen
-
Die Kursgebühr ergibt sich aus der aktuellen Kursbeschreibung zum Zeitpunkt der Buchung.
-
Da es sich bei den angebotenen Veranstaltungen um anerkannte berufliche Bildungsmaßnahmen handelt, sind die Kursgebühren gemäß § 4 Nr. 21 UStG von der Umsatzsteuer befreit. Es wird keine Mehrwertsteuer erhoben und ausgewiesen.
-
Nach Erhalt der Buchungsbestätigung und der Rechnung ist eine Anzahlung in Höhe von 20 % der Kursgebühr innerhalb von 7 Tagen fällig.
-
Die Restzahlung muss spätestens 2 Wochen, bzw. 4 Wochen bei Kursen, die im Ausland stattfinden vor Kursbeginn auf dem Konto des Veranstalters eingegangen sein. Bei kurzfristigen Buchungen (weniger als 4 Wochen vor Kursbeginn) ist die gesamte Kursgebühr sofort fällig.
§ 5 Sonderrücktrittsrecht bei Ablehnung durch den Arbeitgeber
-
Wird die Freistellung für den gebuchten Bildungsurlaub vom Arbeitgeber des Teilnehmenden aus betrieblichen Gründen rechtmäßig abgelehnt, steht dem Teilnehmenden ein Sonderrücktrittsrecht zu.
-
Der Rücktritt muss unverzüglich, spätestens jedoch 6 Wochen vor Kursbeginn in Textform (z. B. per E-Mail) erklärt werden. Der Erklärung ist ein schriftlicher Nachweis des Arbeitgebers über die Ablehnung beizufügen.
-
Im Falle eines fristgerechten Sonderrücktritts entfällt die Pflicht zur Zahlung der Kursgebühr. Bereits geleistete Zahlungen werden vollständig erstattet. Der Veranstalter behält sich das Recht vor, eine Bearbeitungspauschale in Höhe von 25,00 EUR zu erheben.
-
Erfolgt die Absage nach dieser Frist, greifen die regulären Stornierungsbedingungen gemäß § 6.
§ 6 Reguläre Stornierungsbedingungen (Rücktritt des Teilnehmenden)
Gelingt dem Teilnehmenden eine Freistellung nicht oder tritt er aus privaten Gründen (z. B. Krankheit, Urlaubsumplanung) vom Vertrag zurück, gelten folgende gestaffelte Stornogebühren:
-
Bis 6 Wochen vor Kursbeginn: Kostenfrei (bzw. gegen eine Bearbeitungsgebühr von 25,00 EUR).
-
Bis 4 Wochen vor Kursbeginn: 50% der Kursgebühr.
-
Weniger als 4 Wochen vor Kursbeginn oder bei Nichterscheinen: 100% der Kursgebühr.
-
Hinweis: Der Teilnehmende hat das Recht, einen qualifizierten Ersatzteilnehmenden zu benennen, sofern dieser die Voraussetzungen für den Bildungsurlaub erfüllt. In diesem Fall entstehen keine Stornogebühren.
§ 7 Absagevorbehalt bei Mindestteilnehmerzahl
-
Die Durchführung der Kurse ist an eine Mindestteilnehmerzahl von 6 Personen gebunden.
-
Wird diese Mindestteilnehmerzahl nicht erreicht, ist der Veranstalter berechtigt, den Kurs bis spätestens 6 Wochen vor Kursbeginn abzusagen.
-
Im Falle einer Absage durch den Veranstalter werden bereits gezahlte Kursgebühren unverzüglich und vollständig zurückerstattet. Weitergehende Ansprüche (z. B. Stornokosten für bereits gebuchte Hotelzimmer oder Bahntickets) sind ausgeschlossen, es sei denn, dem Veranstalter fällt Vorsatz oder grobe Fahrlässigkeit zur Last.
§ 8 Ausfall des Kursleiters und Höhere Gewalt
-
Kann ein Kurs wegen Erkrankung des Kursleiters oder aufgrund höherer Gewalt (z. B. Naturkatastrophen, Streiks) nicht zum geplanten Termin stattfinden, ist der Veranstalter berechtigt, einen gleichwertig qualifizierten Ersatzreferenten einzusetzen oder den Kurs auf einen Ersatztermin zu verschieben.

Ist eine Verschiebung oder ein Ersatz nicht möglich, wird der Kurs abgesagt und die Kursgebühr vollständig erstattet. Ein Anspruch auf Schadenersatz für vergebliche Aufwendungen (z. B. Reise- und Übernachtungskosten) besteht nicht.
§ 9 Urheberrecht und Nutzungsrechte
Die im Rahmen des Kurses ausgehändigten Arbeitsunterlagen und Medien sind urheberrechtlich geschützt. Jede Vervielfältigung, Weitergabe an Dritte oder kommerzielle Nutzung – auch auszugsweise – ist nur mit ausdrücklicher schriftlicher Genehmigung des Veranstalters gestattet.
§ 10 Schlussbestimmungen

Es gilt das Recht der Bundesrepublik Deutschland.
-
Sollten einzelne Bestimmungen dieser AGB unwirksam sein oder werden, bleibt die Wirksamkeit der übrigen Bestimmungen hiervon unberührt.
